Por los últimos 5 meses nosotros hemos hecho una demostración de resistencia mezclada con resiliencia y pusimos todas nuestras capacidades en modo activo.
En la naturaleza hay dos reflejos, que ha permitido que los seres vivos se mantengan hasta la actualidad, ese reflejo es flight or fight, volar o pelear, ante el miedo todos los animales tenemos algo que se llama instinto de conservación, esto nos paraliza por un microsegundo, en el que nuestro cerebro en conjunto con la visión de 180º que posee el ojo humano, nos permite analizar la situación de extremo a extremo dándonos el poder de desarrollar la estrategia más efectiva para combatir esas amenazas que nos acechan, es allí donde el razonamiento humano decide si debe volar o pelear. Este instinto de conservación se activa mediante ruidos, cuando escuchas un trueno, no sales corriendo por instinto, lo que realmente hacemos es escuchar, entender y analizamos la situación que generó dicho estruendo.
Después de 5 meses desde nuestro último servicio el día 16 de marzo, donde atendimos a nuestra última mesa, hemos decidido pelear esta batalla. Como líder del equipo durante este periodo he vivido un sin fin de diferentes acontecimientos, tomando decisiones complejas tales como dejar ir a personas de confianza, integrantes del equipo capacitados y eficientes en su labor.
He tenido que madurar emocionalmente para que las finanzas de mi negocio que están en rojo desde hace más de 5 meses no afecten tanto mi rendimiento, y como equipo nos hemos volcado a la creatividad. Junto al equipo de La Tapa del Coco hemos sobrellevado esta compleja etapa creando, potenciando la creatividad y desarrollando mayores aptitudes y habilidades de cada uno de los integrantes. Un día entendí que el mensaje debía cambiar, que cada integrante del equipo le había demostrado al mundo lo resistente y fuerte que podíamos llegar a ser, pero llegó el momento de sanar.
Iniciamos una nueva temporada, la curación, viene una nueva etapa donde podremos salir con mayor libertad, podremos abrazar a esas personas que hemos extrañado por más de 5 meses, ancianos, amigos, familiares, colegas. Necesitamos curarnos, esta situación compleja por la que hemos pasado nos ha llevado a muchos de nosotros al borde del colapso emocional, lloramos, las cosas nos afectan de diferente manera.
Los símbolos son muy importantes a lo largo de todas las culturas. Nuestra cultura caribeña es sumamente joven y esto ocasiona que nuestros símbolos sean difíciles de identificar, cuando vemos un candelabro hebreo de 12 puntas sabemos inmediatamente que esa es una casa judía, porque ese símbolo tiene más de 3,000 años, cuando vemos un coco, una palmera, también es simbología, son nuestros símbolos caribeños, es eso lo que nosotros queremos expresar en esta nueva temporada, el poder curativo a nivel emocional, espiritual, físico que tiene nuestra agua de coco, nuestras palmera y el agua del mar, y apelar que vayamos al mar a curarnos.
Aún no sabemos el final de esta historia, pero lo que sí sabemos es que esta nueva temporada está llena de esperanza, y podremos curar todas las heridas de las batallas que hemos peleado. HOLD ON, PAIN ENDS (Resiste un poco más, el dolor pasará).
